Summer starts now...

So the last week has been spent recovering from the semester. Didn't do so well in classes, but so ready to take that bull by the horn and do better. I enjoy having my car again, and I enjoy having a BIG bed. But I miss my friends. Don't get me wrong, I have excellent friends here at home, but school is an entirely different lifestyle. First of all I lived in a house with 11 other girls, here I live with my parents. There, my friends are a 5 minute walk away, and don't have jobs. Here my friends and I have job and family commitments. It's cool and stuff, I guess I've just gotten used to the university lifestyle.

In a couple of days, I move to start my new job. I think it will be a happy medium, I will be living with my aunt and grandmother, in their luxurious basement. I will have the whole tv/dvd player thing going on, and she has a router, so I will be connected to internet, and the best news is...I have my car!! That will be good, as I have a couple friends in the city that I am moving to, and I won't be relying on anyone else. I can't go far into the city, cause I totally don't know my way around it, but I can visit people, and even cooler, I will be living on a lake! Totally excited!!! Oh yeah, and the job is a perfect step to get paid for something I like to do and I'm good at, get my foot in the door with the company and beef up my resume! Three perks for the price of one! It seems like a friendly company, and oh yeah, the wage isn't anything to sneeze at either. Hey can I toss anymore cheesy phrases in here? Only when pigs fly!
