Plugging along

This week has been very strange. Weather wise it has gone from hot to cold and back again. It snowed yesterday for a short period of time which was quite enjoyable. Nothing stuck though, as the ground isn't quite frozen. I feel as if I'm starting to gain a handle on my work load. The semester is finally winding down, it feels so good to see the light of day again. My sleeping patterns have been weird recently, I don't think I'm getting enough because I'm too stressed.
On the upside I did enjoy myself immensely at the hockey game tonight. Go Spits! I knew I missed going to games, I went to many Jr. B games in high school, but I haven't gone to one in two years. Tsk. I forgot just how much fun hockey is, even if it is non-professional. My first game with OT too, how wonderful is that.
And next week will be a blast, as there's friends coming to visit and we get to show them around town! Woot!
On the downside I think I'm catching a cold. Time for sleepies for me.

A short history of me

This is my memory jogging flash experiment, enjoy!

Just playing with my pictures

Just a fun pic of my henna tat from the summer. It was fun! Posted by Picasa

Friends

Ok I realize I have not posted in quite awhile. I apologize for that. But the current post of the moment will be about friends. My friends are the best things in my life, I would be very lost without them. I just spent a wonderful day with my best friend, who was shocked that I had never seen the Shawshank Redemption, which is her favourite movie. So, naturally we watched it. After an interlude of a group meeting I had, we went for dinner at McDonald's and just hung out until 11:30. It was a fun day.

I often think friends go unappreciated. They are always there for us when we need them, yet how often do we actually thank them? They should be thanked often, not just with words, but through actions too. When was the last time you did something for your best friend just because? I know it's time for me to change that.

In other news, school is going a heck of a lot better than it did last term, which I am quite happy about. It looks like my marks will be decent, and this semester will not be a total waste of time. The work has been burying me deep, but it feels great once I've accomplished it.

I will now have time to update this more often, and I promise to post some photos soon. I will play around with the Picasa, cause I have a ton of new pics to show off :)
